Banana Face Mask for Oily Skin

This face mask is perfect for oily skin. The clay will draw out all the excess sebum and impurities, while other ingredients will gently moisturize and exfoliate the skin.

You'll need:

  • 1 medium-sized banana
  • 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons bentonite clay
  • 2 teaspoons jojoba oil

Banana Face Mask for Sensitive Skin

If your skin is easily sensitized and prone to irritation, you'll greatly benefit from this DIY face mask with banana, oatmeal, and argan (also known as Moroccan) oil. All ingredients are hydrating and moisturizing, and most importantly, they are soothing, calming any redness or itchiness.

You'll need:

  • 1 medium-sized banana
  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • 2 teaspoons argan oil

Preparation:

  1. First, prepare the rolled oats. Put them in a blender or food processor and blend until you get a powder (colloidal oatmeal). Mix the oatmeal with a little bit of water to get a paste.
  2. Then prepare your banana by mashing it with a fork in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the oatmeal and the argan oil into the bowl, and mix everything together to get a smooth and even mixture.

Apply to cleansed face and let it sit for about 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water and continue with the following steps in your skincare regimen.

If you have sensitive or dry skin, in addition, you can skip the tea tree oil as it can be a bit harsh to the skin.
